A message
from the Chair of Governors..
"I am grateful for the opportunity to share my thoughts with
you about the school. We are a small school offering a
secure and friendly atmosphere in which your child can
develop their full potential. As Governors, we have a real
responsibility to ensure that the school continues to move
forward, developing an ethos where your child will feel
valued for itself and able to grow into a rounded person, as
well as reaching the full potential of their academic
ability. Both are essential in a successful child. Our team
of Governors is committed and dedicated to continuing the
success of the school.
Our responsibilities include providing a safe and pleasant
environment in which the staff and children can work,
setting an annual budget for the school from the funds
delegated from the County Council, ensuring that a full and
wide curriculum is delivered to the children and supporting
the Headteacher in her leadership of the school.
Our school benefits from strong links with the community,
which we continue to foster at every opportunity. We also
ourselves form a community with parents, grandparents and
all carers forming an effective group whose aim is always to
secure the best education for our children."
