Hilmarton School Association (HSA)
We are fortunate to have a very active School
Association in which all parents become a part of when their
child starts school. This group of supporters is
absolutely invaluable, raising huge amounts of money which
is used to benefit all children. Last year over £8500
was donated to school for new resources to benefit all
classes and to support visitors coming in to school as part
of Science Week and our Multicultural Week. Recent events
include the Bollywood Ball,
Pot Supper, Parents’ “Back to School” disco, Boys’
Activity Day and Halloween Discos. Several additional
community events are held throughout the year to benefit the
whole parish, and school is very grateful to be able to gain
additional funding from these.
This year the HSA are
particularly focusing on the purchase of additional
equipment to furnish the soon to be built school / community
hall. We rely completely on the goodwill and
support of all our parents for these fundraising projects.
If you would like to become more involved, please ask any
HSA member for more information – they will be really
pleased to help!
